Just finished, had to use more gouache than I would have liked because I always paint too dark too fast.

Just finished up this piece a little while ago.

Beginning

thought I'd put up a shot of this piece in the first stage. Just two washes and a bit of salt at the top. Slow going on this one, got some other projects I have to finish up first.

Just found out that my Urania piece made it to the final Discover a Muse lineup on Art Order! Thanks to Jon Schindehette and Veronika Kotlajic for organizing the contest, and to all the judges, Irene Gallo of Tor books, Claire Howlett of Imagine FX, Robbh Ruppel of Naughty Dog Studios.
