Play of St George

Here is a piece I made for Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy. In this scene the girl (Eustacia) in blue is dressed up as the Turkish Knight in the Play of St George. She is spying on the man in the foreground to see if he is good husband material. I think there are a lot of things wrong with it so I might be repainting soon.

Lovecraft

This is a new version of an old piece I painted for the Illuxcon scholarship contest. Skipped class to finish because I thought the deadline was today, then I found out it was actually due May 31st. whatever :|

New portraits

I haven't posted for a while so here's a couple things I have been working on. The first is an underwater self portrait and the other is St. Brigid. She is an interesting Irish saint who is also the patron of artists, the reason she is holding a feather pen. Should be posting some finals soon.
