Here's my piece for the Discover A Muse art challenge on the Art Order blog(which is an awesome, awesome blog. Lots of helpful advice form art director, Jon Schindehette). The challenge was to illustrate your muse using reference from Veronika Kotlajic's impressive modeling portfolio. So this is Urania, the Greek muse of astrology.
The salt technique (I'm guessing that's what you used) for the milky way looking constellation in the background worked out wonderfully. The muse is rendered very well too! All around great execution!
