More Poe

Got a new piece brewin' up, the ending scene from "Cask of the Amontillado." This is a collaboration instigated by my former classmate Mike Puncekar who is working on the color half of it. My intent was to show a more sorrowful revenge, rather than angry, being exacted on Fortunato. I felt it went with the slowness and contemplated way he was executed. Catacombs were a blast to draw.

  1. Yes!! This is my favorite Edgar Allen Poe story, I'm really excited to see how this turns out!

I love the elongated limbs and the way you decided to compile all the bones and skulls together.
